It Is a Family Name

Long before there were the Apples of the world, we had Bruce and Demi Moore naming their children Rumer and Scout. Even then, I couldn’t imagine what had gotten into them. Scout…seriously? Scout is what you name your dog, in my humble opinion. People do give their animals people names, but rarely have people given their kids pet names. I’m surprised that one of Hollywood’s stars hasn’t named their child Rover or Fido. Because, really, Scout is akin to those names.

Then there is Rumer. At least they didn’t actually name her “Rumor.” Although, I can see how they might arrive at that, because there are always “rumors” about celebrities being pregnant. In this case, the “rumor” was true…how clever they were! GAH!
